Mesh Contest: Titanic Remembrance Day

Okay sahabat Dunia Imvu, ini adalah postingan Varsha tentang Event di bulan April ini yaitu Hari Peringatan (kejadian kecelakaan) Titanic. Langsung saja simak, versi English ya. :)

Did you know April 15th is Titanic Remembrance Day? Thanks to some excellent suggestions from some of our Creators regarding a meshing contest, we have decided to honor this sad historical event in a way that will allow all IMVU users to participate in some way! Keep the suggestions coming by the way for future contests.

 
The contest is open to all IMVU meshers - current and aspiring ones! It is being hosted in collaboration between IMVU and DarkAngel5 (translation: it will be nice and organized...).

General Guidelines & Selection Criteria

--Contest entry period begins today, March 29th and ends on April 10th (sorry for the shorter than ideal time frame but we have a lot of stuff following this contest that is related... read on!)
--All product entries must be General Audience appropriate
--Entry must be your own work. Any entry with copyrighted content will be automatically disqualified.
--All entries must have been submitted to the catalog on March 29th or later. Products submitted before that date will not be accepted.
--You may enter up to 4 products total: 1 product per category.
--Winning entries will be announced in this thread and will be receiving credit prizes and will be the meshes used for our follow up Creator contest.
--All entries will be judged based on the selection criteria noted in this post by members of IMVU staff and forum moderators.
--Feel free to post screenshots of your entry in this thread (keep the forum image guidelines in mind) as well as a link to the products.
--All entries must be set to Visible, Display Only and Non-Derivable

Meshing Category Guidelines

Titanic-themed Room

--Product type guidelines: you will create a new mesh derived from an IMVUInc. room product.
--Aesthetic guidelines: Your imagination, vision, and interpretation of the Titanic event. Bigger is not always better, so focus on constructing a well-made mesh and good textures.

Titanic-themed Furniture

--Product type guidelines: you will create a new mesh derived from an IMVUInc. furniture product.
--Aesthetic guidelines: Your imagination, vision, and interpretation of the Titanic event. Feel free to get very creative with the animations!


Titanic Male Clothing

--Product type guidelines: you will create a new mesh derived from an IMVUInc. clothing product - for male avatars
--Aesthetic guidelines: the meshes should reflect the titanic time period.

Titanic Female Clothing

--Product type guidelines: you will create a new mesh derived from an IMVUInc. clothing product - for female avatars
--Aesthetic guidelines: the meshes should reflect the titanic time period.

Prizes

The first prize winning entries from all 4 categories above will be the mesh provided for the next Creator contest that will kick off after this one. We will ask people to derive from those products.


Titanic Room

1st place: 200,000 credits; item will be locked and used as a mesh for our next contest.
Runners Up (max: 3): 100,000 credits each

Titanic Furniture

1st place: 100,000 credits; item will be locked and used as a mesh for our next contest.
Runners Up (max: 3): 50,000 credits each

Titanic Male Clothing

1st place: 100,000 credits; item may be locked and used as a mesh for our next contest.
Runners Up (max: 3): 50,000 credits each

Titanic Female Clothing

1st place: 100,000 credits; item may be locked and used as a mesh for our next contest.
Runners Up (max: 3): 50,000 credits each
